1- Product Introduction
The "Tangtai" HK Valve-Controlled Sealed Lead Acid Battery, designed for aviation use, features a novel structure with safety valve control, special sealed terminals, excellent cold-starting capability, shock resistance, vibration resistance, long cycle life, low internal resistance, low self-discharge rate, and high energy density. It operates without free electrolyte and acid mist overflow during normal usage, making it a convenient and maintenance-friendly ground power source for aircraft starting and maintenance support, with no noise or emissions.
2- Product Structure
2.1 Positive and negative plate grids are made of lead-calcium-tin-aluminum alloy, improving the overpotential of hydrogen evolution and reducing the water loss rate during battery usage, thus enhancing the sealing performance and lifespan of the battery.
2.2 Electrodes: The electrodes adopt a rectangular large grid segmented structure, increasing the battery energy density and extending the cycle life.
2.3 Separators: Absorbent ultra-fine glass fiber separators are used, providing low internal resistance and excellent high-rate discharge performance.
2.4 Active materials: Special additives are incorporated into the positive and negative lead pastes to reduce the decomposition of organic substances during electrochemical reactions, alter the crystal phase structure of the active materials, improve their utilization rate, enhance charging acceptance capability, and strengthen cold-starting performance, thereby extending the battery lifespan.
2.5 High-purity electrolyte: High-purity electrolyte and special additives are employed to enhance the utilization rate of active materials, improve deep discharge characteristics, and enhance charging acceptance capability.
2.6 Special terminal sealing structure: A unique combination labyrinth terminal sealing structure and welding process ensure reliable and secure sealing.
2.7 Safety valve structure: The valve body is made of flame-retardant ABS material, and the valve core adopts a lip-type structure with dual acid mist filtration layers, providing accurate control of valve opening and closing pressure as well as flame retardant and acid mist filtration functions.
2.8 Group separator packaging structure: This employs a U-shaped double-layer longitudinal film wrapping method and tight assembly techniques to effectively prevent the stress of electrode plates from affecting the elasticity of separators. It ensures good adhesion of separators, uniform acid absorption, and avoids pollution of electrode plates.
2.9 Terminals: Large-diameter copper core terminals are used, with integrated compression casting of terminals and comb teeth, providing a large current-carrying area and low internal resistance.
2.10 Short circuit protection: Plastic protective covers are added to the positive and negative plates, effectively preventing short circuits between the positive and negative electrodes and deformation of the plates.
2.11 Battery shell: Made of engineering plastic ABS material, the battery shell features an attractive appearance, strong structure, and reliable sealing.
